After a nice, restful holiday break, Blizzard broke the news this morning, February 9th, that the Overwatch closed beta has returned and that new invites will be going out until Blizzard says “we out!” Furthermore, there’s a ton of new stuff in this beta.

The Overwatch team has posted a video to their YouTube page featuring Jeff Kaplan (Game Developer) who goes into some detail about what players can expect in round #2 of the closed beta.
While Blizzard hasn’t said specifically how many people will be eligible to participate in this round of the closed beta, they have encouraged anyone interested in playing to “opt in” via the Battle.net client or the Battle.net website. They have also stated that gamers should not look for “keys” to the Overwatch beta, as there are no external keys available and are most likely scammers. Access to the Overwatch beta will only be available through either the website or client. And, if selected, you should receive an email on the account that is tied to your Battle.net account.
[BETA] Important: Overwatch beta “keys” do not exist. Please be cautious of any emails, websites, or individuals that claim to offer them!
